Inspired by a woman I have been blessed enough to call Grandma. Although she is no longer here with us today, she will always touch the lives of so many through the people that loved her most. My grandma was born on September 3, 1942 and parted ways with us to start her eternal life on April 13, 2016.

This woman raised 14 children with my grandpa on a farm, excelled as a nurse for 20 years, and somehow still managed to find time to escape to her sewing room. For as long as I can remember, she made every grandkid a quilted baby blanket for all of us to have as a keepsake, and every year for Christmas she handmade something for us. Some of things we all received were blankets, pillows, robes, and dress up boxes filled with dresses she made. If you didn't already know, with 14 kids comes a TON of grandkids. Four years ago we did a head count which totaled in 120 family members on the Hutchison side... and that was FOUR years ago, there has been many babies born since!

Growing up with a bunch of cousins allowed us all to be so close and the farm was our hangout spot for sleepovers with grandma. From fast uno, to phase 10, to scrabble, to baking brownies and cookies, to doing crafts, we were always doing something with our grandma.

For a few years of my life, my family lived out at the farm with my grandparents. During that time my grandma taught me how to sew and make different crafts. There wasn't anything she couldn't sew or make. When I was in fifth grade I had a school project about a different country and needed a costume, so she mimicked the outfit her Hungarian doll was wearing and made it from scratch! I always looked up to her and was so amazed by her talent.

From a little girl wanting to be just like her grandma, to myself now as a 23 year old woman attempting to follow her footsteps, I am blessed to introduce you to, Forever Rose Co.
